Available for Ubuntu and derivative distributions, version 20.04 and later (glibc_2.31 or later).

To install on Ubuntu and derivatives
1. Download the package (double-click on above link)

2. Install the package (via command line/terminal interface)
```
    sudo apt-get install -f ~/Downloads/ScriptureViewer-2.12-1_amd64.deb
OR  sudo apt-get install -f ~/Downloads/ScriptureViewer-2.12-1_amd64\(#\).deb
```
Note: If you've downloaded multiple times, the additional copies come with a number in parenthesis. Use the latest number in place of the # in the second format.
Note: If presented, you may safely ignore the "N: Download is performed unsandboxed as root..." message.
To uninstall this pre-release version
```
sudo apt-get -y remove scriptureviewer
```
Note: If presented, you may safely ignore the "/opt not empty, not deleted" message. Other messages may indicate some residual clean-up might be in order.
