• Android: Most new Androids are 64-bit, some older are either 32-processors or 64-bit processors running with 32-bit OS. You can try the 64-bit version. If it doesn't work, use the 32-bit version. Alternatively, use an existing Play Store app to determine whether the device is 64-bit ready, such as:
  • AIDA64 (check the information in the CPU page)
  • CPU-Z (check the System page)
  If the app indicates your CPU doesn't have the 64-bit ARMv8-A instruction set, or it is set in 32-bit mode, it implies the Android version is not 64-bit ready/capable.

  Attempting to install the 64-bit .apk in a 32-bit environment should report an error.
